We are just outside Devil’s Bridge, with its world famous waterfalls in the picturesque Cambrian Mountains of Mid Wales. Nestling in a sheltered meadow, we are a small, family-run park, ideally located for exploring the Pumlumon area and the Cardiganshire coast. The area is perfectly suited for mountain biking, walking and bird-watching with the beach only twenty minutes away – the famous red kite can often be spotted flying over the site! We pride ourselves on providing our guests with a holiday to remember in a friendly, relaxed atmosphere. Many of our guests have been here since it was first started (over 40 years ago!) and are now seeing the third generation of the family grow up on the park. Like the sound of this? Then click on the buttons above for more information and what we can offer in the area. Our park covers six acres and was started in the late 60's by my father, Gwynn who ran it with my mother Beatrice until they retired. Although they have now passed the park onto us, they still keep an active interest in all that’s happening and love chatting with old friends! We have 57 well-spaced static caravan pitches with holiday homes for sale and one to hire on a weekly or weekend basis. There is a separate field for touring caravans and tents and the park is full of character with lovely views of the surrounding countryside. Children are welcome to bring their bikes and they’ll also enjoy the large, open grass play areas – the touring field has seen many a round of cricket and bowls in its time! We are only half a mile away from Devil’s Bridge and two miles from Ponterwyd where you will find a post office, garage, camp shop, bistro and take-away service! There are many inns and pubs in the surrounding area serving great bar meals and the town of Aberystwyth is only twenty minutes away by car. It’s a great area for outdoor activities, especially for mountain biking, fishing, walking and golf to name but a few. Or perhaps you fancy a day at one of the lovely coastal towns of Aberaeron, Aberdovey or New Quay where you can wander the many historical streets and lanes or spend a day at the beach at Borth or YnysLas. You may even spot the famous Cardigan Bay dolphins! Popular visitor hot spots are the Devil’s Bridge waterfalls of course, Bwlch Nant yr Arian Visitor Centre and the famous Vale of Rheidol steam railway which travels through the picturesque countryside from Devil’s Bridge to Aberystwyth. Also, don’t forget to keep an eye on our website for events and what’s on in the area. We have two areas for touring and camping. The lower touring field has electric hook-ups and a number of hard-standing and grassy pitches for both caravan and awning. Motorhomes can also park here. There is another area for tents at the top of the park which is a flat field and has a lovely view over the whole park. This field is ideally suited for families as it is close to the play area. We have two toilet blocks, one with just toilets and the other with toilets and showers. There is also a laundry adjacent to the main toilet block. We welcome school groups and Duke of Edinburgh groups at Erwbarfe. Please contact us for group bookings as we can offer a discount. We also offer seasonal pitches for touring caravans and you can also leave your caravan over the winter period.
