Ballyronan Marina and Caravan Park is a picturesque boating, caravan and camping tourist facility sited within the village of Ballyronan on the shores of Lough Neagh, approximately 12 miles from Cookstown. The Caravan site has 22 pitches for touring Caravans/motorhomes all with their own electric and water supplies and 4 tent pitches.

Park OPEN from - 17th March -30th September.

The Facilities at the caravan park include: - Laundry Room - Kitchen Room - Male, Female and Diasabled Toilets - Male, Female and Disabled Shower Rooms - Waste Disposal Room - BBQ Area - Childrens Play Areas - I-Play - Picnic Areas

  • To compliment the facility there is also a special Woodland Nature Trail ‘Ballyronan Wood’ with a variety of pathways, view points and information signage, highlighting the natural beauty of the area. The 1.2km walk through the 5 acre wet woodland boasts a wealth of wildlife easily viewed from the path such as mute swan, whooper swan, bewick swan, great crested grebes and tufted duck plus many more.

  • Pets are allowed but must be kept on a lead and animal fouling bins are in place throughout the grounds.

Directions: 5 miles south east of Magherafelt on B160 road, 12 miles north east of Cookstown A29/B18 road, signposted.

Watersports, walks and picnic area. Picturesque area on shores of Lough Neagh.

The park incorporates play, outdoor games and beach areas. To compliment the facility, there is a special woodland nature trail, boasting a wealth of wildlife. Sailing, canoeing and boat trips on the Maid of Antrim cruiser are all available. Marina awarded Blue Flag status in 2010.

Location Description: 5 miles south east of Magherafelt on B160 road, 12 miles north east of cookstown A23/B18 road, signposted.

Pitches: 22 motor/touring caravan spaces at £16 per night. (£9 per night where no electricity required) No charge for hook-up or awning. 8 tents sites at £10 per night.
