Hi I would not recommend Brasso or any solvent based cutting compounds as the solvent can attack the polycarbonate or acrylic plastic windows. I would recommend Fenwick's windowize or similar fine cutting compounds which is solvent free.

I will second what bigchris63 says about Brasso but would not bother with the Fenwicks stuff, its rubbish at getting scratches out, a good cleaner yes but you will be there all day removing scratches

Cerium oxide is the way to go, it's a glass polishing compound that you mix with water, I hit a bush with my caravan and it put some scratches in the kitchen window used the cerium oxide and it took them out also took out the scratches from previous so called glass cleaning agents but requires a lot of elbow grease, an electric polisher is helpful the polishing type NOT the grinding type. Cerium oxide can be obtained from that well known auction site at a reasonable cost.

I would advise against using solvents in cleaning the windows because you can do more harm than good. I’ve learned this the hard way when I used them on mine and damaged the windows. I would advise you to use some professional services, at least for a couple of months to see how to do it properly, and after that it will be easier. I recommend these guys leedswindowcleaningservices as they have great prices and do a very good job.

First of all, you need to clean the window and apply the gel-free toothpaste on the affected area. And after 30-40 seconds, you can remove it with a lint-free cloth. On the other hand, if you think you need professional help then UniSpray's surface repairing service for window scratches could be a reliable option. You can explore more about them from here https://unispray.co.uk/surface-repair/. Hopefully, UniSpray would take care of your window scratches.

In case, you think your caravan glass window has a small and repairable scratch then you should try Fenwicks Windowize with the help of the lint-free cloth.
