I have a 2001 SWIFT Charisma 230 2 berth Caravan and the outer layer of the roof has a "rippled" appearance. The Dealer says that this is common with SWIFT Caravans of this age. The roof is totally watertight and the Dealer maintains that the condition is "normal" and that I should not be concerned. Does any fellow member have knowledge or experience of this condition?.

Hi the dealer is correct this is normal on Swift group older caravans as the roof aluminum sheet is rolled on loosely which gives the ripple appearance.

Thanks, It's is actually reassuring to have an account from an "independent" source.

I received a letter from Swift stating that some challenger 480 caravans were fitted with the wrong size tyres, but there was no danger, just a possibility that the tyre could suddenly deflate. well there was i worrying over nothing then !!!!!!
