Who thinks its worth getting a 6Lite instead of a normal 6kg cylinder? is the 3kg's saving worth it? I was given a normal 6kg when I got the van & keep thinking I should change to a Lite, but what are everyone else's thoughts?

Calor site states: The Calor Lite® weighs 4.52 kg empty and 10.52Kg full The existing Calor 6kg cylinder weights 9kg empty. Thus a FULL lite is only 1.52Kg heavier than an EMPTY steel cylinder. Only minor disadvantage is cost, this week it cost me £21.99 for 6kg Propane Calorlite.

thats only a couple of quid more than a normal 6kg. The Lite seem the best option asyou could have 2 that would only weigh the same as1 normal 6kg.

There is another alternative the Safefill cylinder at 150 pounds which is filled with standard lpg.
It costs me just over 11pounds to fill and I only have to have the one cylinder.
And if I want to tour Europe a filling adaptor is another 25 pounds.
