Get yourself over to France. With the Euro at 1.24 to the pound its great value. Some cracking camp sites and the roads are a lot quieter. Go a little further south and your almost guaranteed sunshine. A cracking site in the Dordogne is "La Tournerie Ferme" run by brits and some lovely countryside and places to go

Sorry, I must have pressed the wrong button!!
Back to the non existant summer..... We are lucky to be able to go away a few times a year, but this year we are still waiting to have some good weather, where ever we have been. We are also going to Cornwall at the end of the month so fingers crossed. It cannot be beaten so long as the weather is kind. The coastline is spectacular, the beaches lovely and the sea is clean. It is a long journey for most people but well worth it.

We personally do not feel the need to travel to Europe with the van but each too their own. The UK has many great holiday locations but they do not come with good weather guaranteed.

Been away 5 times already this year, 4 out of 5 managed to pick weekends with decent weather, even managed to get fried like a lobster @ Hunstanton when we had our summer a few weeks ago (LOL) (who needs to go abroad), will be doing a double @ Snettisham then on to Great Yarmouth for the racing (CC site) with friends as the next trip, don't really care what the weather does as long as we're away.
