Caravan Sites, Caravan Parks and Campsites in Norfolk

Norfolk’s flat land and fertile land has long ensured that the ground is used as arable land, used to grow sugar beet, wheat, barley (for brewing) and oil seed rape. Yet the flatness of the land also makes Norfolk the ideal place for caravans, tents and motorhomes, they are easy to set up and there of plenty of caravan and camp sites– an additional comfort is the fact that Norfolk is one of the few counties in England that does not have a motorway so there is plenty of peace and tranquility to be had. What better way to spend your caravan holiday.

Norfolk is probably best known for the Broads and other areas of outstanding natural beauty. Many of the areas in and around the coast in Norfolk are wild bird sanctuaries and nature reserves, so it makes sense that there are animal centres, zoos and even a Sea Life Centre that boast to contain some of the country’s wildlife and sea life. You can even see some historic animals if you dare venture out of the caravan and into the roars of Dinosaur Adventure or act like am ape at the Go Ape in Thetford Forest.

Leave your caravan and relax on one of the many pleasure beaches in the area including those in Great Yarmouth, Waxham, Cromer and Holkham, enjoying a donkey rides or a boat trip or alternately walk along the un-spoilt coastline.

Norfolk is also home to the Queen's residence at Sandringham House, which is perhaps the most famous stately home in Norfolk. It is set in 24 hectares of stunning gardens, and is at the heart of the 8,000-hectare Sandringham Estate, 240 hectares of which make up the woodland and heath of the Country Park, and although the house itself is private, the gardens are open to the public free of charge every day of the year.
