Just a stones throw away from London, Surrey is a great place for you to set up base in your caravan or tent, not just because of it’s proximity to the capitol but also because of all the area offers. Divided in two by the magnificent chalk ridge of the North Downs, the ridge is pierced by Surrey's two rivers, the Wey and the Mole, another aspect of countryside London as they are tributaries of the Thames.

Once a quiet rural area, the introduction of the railways in the late 1830’s meant that the population increased as more people commuted to work in London expanding the areas population and wealth. Now the country boasts four large towns Guildford, Woking, Ewell and Camberley, all of which offer great shopping facilities, eateries and some night life for those caravanners who feel like dancing till dawn.
